PLACENTIA (CBSLA) – A person was fatally wounded in a shootout with law enforcement officials behind an deserted store in Placentia on Saturday, authorities stated.
Officers stated they found a suspicious, occupied automobile at round 1:10 a.m. parked behind a vacant business house on the 800 block of North Rose Drive.

A shootout broke out once they had contact with the lone suspect within the automobile, Lt. Chris Anderson of the Placentia Police Division.
The suspect shot officers who hit the windshield of a patrol automobile, Anderson stated.
