Los Angeles’ Unified College District, the second largest within the nation, requires college students 12 and older to be absolutely vaccinated towards Covid-19 with the intention to attend in-person courses.
The district – with almost 630,000 college students – reopened school rooms on August 16 with strict Covid protocols, together with masking and weekly testing. The mandate authorised by the board on Thursday stipulates that college students have to be absolutely vaccinated by January 10, however supplies exceptions for medical and different causes.
